Mike Go for City Vice Mayor - Halalan 2007

may 14, 2007 - tension fills the household of go family as the moment of truth comes nearer by the hour. it's d day for tito mike and for all of us who have prayed to high heavens that he make it as the city vice mayor this election. mommy just finished creating a worksheet for the tally votes. daddy is in tito mike's house making last minute arrangements, accompanying the very seemingly poised candidate despite the fact that it's just hours away before the results of the elections are finally proclaimed. lolo vic, lola jo, tito vj and your cousins are off to legazpi city to send off lola jo to the airport after coming here for the lone reason of exercising her right to vote. she is, after all the DILG Director of RegionIII and not to make use of such right is so unlikely. that makes me a little "dyahe" since i haven't once in my adult life exercised my right of suffrage considering i was once an iskolar ng bayan who marched with friends, orgmates and school mates to EDSA rallying for Erap's resignation.

and you erika...you are...well, sleeping.

unmindful of all the hustle and bustle that this election has brought the family and friends of tito mike. you are still, in spite of all that's happening around you, the center of attention. the apple of everyone's eyes, the sunshine that lights up our day, the comic relief. yes baby, the comic relief. you don't only make us smile but you make us laugh with your antics. you know how to pose - head tilted on one side with a big smile, you have an infectious laughter, you have weird facial expressions, you can now walk without support though your balance isn't very stable yet. you like banana- that's why sometimes i call you carissa - a character in a tv drama series that looks like a monkey. hehehe.

your daddy is the no. 1 supporter. (or is it your lolo vic?) mga "punong abala" in tito mike's campaign. i am helping of course, in the sidelines, backstage, not too glamorous, i think daddy's afraid i might end up hogging the limelight. hahaha! joke lang. or maybe, i might know too much to want to run for politics myself in the future. well, i dunno. ask your daddy why i am not allowed to go to campaign sorties while everybody else is there.

so now it's just you, me and ate vana. i didn't go to the fast food to accompany you. ate margie went home(again - 2nd time this month) to vote. ate vana is only 16 so as much as she wanted to go home and vote, she can't. hehehe. kind of anti-climactic, staying indoors while all else are busy and filled with anticipation. but i don't mind, staying here, having the chance to do this blog for you.

oh remember i was working with james pitt? well, it was short-lived. he realized too that it is better for him to get an assistant he could train face to face and since he's already in davao city, he might as well get an assistant there. so no work na si mommy again. oh but i have my small business - loadextreme. e-load. so far, so good.

you cried like crazy around 2 o'clock this morning. you must have been dreaming. what was it anak? i had a hard time making you stop. i ended up sleeping till 10:30 am today.

i love you.
