Wedding Day Count Down: 5 days 21 hours and 35 minutes
There had never been more butterflies in my stomach than now! After 6 months of planning and preparation, discussions, arguments and make-ups, the big day is finally coming...the one big day that will matter most (at least, to all the friends, guests and spectators).
I realize that getting married is like putting together a big production, a big show for everybody to enjoy and to remember. I, of course, as the Bride is the Director of this show (on the side is my Producer - Gerry...hehehe!) The Star of this show? Who else but Moi? c",) Although it's fun and exciting, it's never easy you know. I, "feeling" Super Woman as I am needed to admit that I cannot go through all these without seeking the help of Wedding Planners at least for the On-the-day coordination while my Groom is busy in Bicolandia looking for a way to finance our almost perfect wedding...if only my vital stats are 34-24-34. sigh!
I'd have to deal with sleepless nights, tension pains, penniless days (coz i resigned as a corporate slave), numerous painful trips to the dermatologist to have that "glow" on my wedding day, crash diets (which by the way didn't do me any good), non-constructive arguments with Gerry, unsolicited advices from outside forces (harhar), sweaty underpants after working out (i did shed a measly 7 pounds...honest!), a substantial decrease in our bank account and several serious threats of break-up...all initiated by me during my bouts of insanity.
But all these I would go through again if only to marry the man who makes me happy and who makes me feel really special. The man is worth it, I tell you. He was once asked by my father why after all that's been said and done against him, he still chose me. He simply answered, "Mahal ko po talaga ang anak niyo eh."
Bebe, just so you'll know, we may have come from two different worlds, I may not have been as understanding and patient as I should be but I have always loved you more.
Can't wait to be Mrs Karen Anne Go =)
